THE WEEKEND OF RIVERBEND: DAY 1

For more summers then we can count, The Riverbend festival has been a tradition. Bringing in great acts such as Brandy, The Isley Brothers, Kid Rock, The Temptations, and many more. The week long festival started in June 1982. As a tradition the festival come to life for one week in June. Of course, fashion takes over the week and many plan for months on what's the perfect outfit they  will wear. Here is our style.

Al'leta LaShan of Edwina LaShan is rocking a backless open trimmed halter top from Wet Seal. She accompanied the top with black strapless crop top with a boob tube to hold everything in bought at JCPenneys. 

Then some home-made ripped and tailored jeans made by Al'leta LaShan herself. The jeans were bought at a thrift store. The jeans came down to the ankle and held no holes. She reinvented the jeans during her own spare time. 

Let's not forget the shoes! She wore an open-toe scarped sandal from Old Navy. On top of that a bronze, floral, design, face watch from JCPenneys. 

Also, a light brown tassel arm band bag with a long brown sash to wear the bad versatile from Rue 21 to add a BoHo look. Not to mention, she rocked the natural curl fro to add her own flare to the outfit. 

Lastly, some pearl earrings to make the look more classic and playful.

Kiayni Norwood @k_woods who was featured in this week's #StreetStyleSaturday . 

Shes wearing a floral print high-low tank top, she bought from Charlotte Russe.  Ripped jean shorts bought from Forever 21 with a black belt to accent it. White single strapped sandals from Old Navy.

Of course, the biggest accessory her natural hair fro pushed in a up-do. She looked absolutely amazing and the wind played her best friend, because the train flowed beautifully in the wind. She gave us a summer beach look that's great for any summer activity. 

The only question that's left is how did the girls do for the kickoff of Riverbend?!?!?!?!?!
