SHIRLEY TEMPLE: Style Icon: Child Star, Child Icon, Child Icon

Today on Edwina LaShan Fashion Blog we pay tribute to Our Style Icon, Child star, Shirley Temple! Shirley Temple recently pasted away. Which, instantly brought on a light bulb in her heads! Since her passing was announced on a Tuesday, we decided to Pay Tribute to Shirley Temple! Making her Our Style Icon!

    Temple at 16 years old!

As normally, before we pay tribute to Our Style Icon, let's learn a little about Shirley Temple...

Shirley Temple Black was born April 23, 1928. She passed on February 10, 2014. Shirley Temple was an American film and television actress, singer, dancer and public servant, most famous as a child star in the 1930s. As an adult, she entered politics and became a diplomat, serving as United States Ambassador To Ghana and later to Czechoslovakia and as Chief of Protocol of the United States.

Check out Shirley Temple's Signature Fashions Below:

Shirley is wearing a custom satin dress, embroidered with ruffles. She has on a ruffle blouse and a black bow tie!

In this look, Shirley Temple is wearing a custom dress with a white statement neck collar. A bow is tied around her neck.

In Shirley Temple's movies she was known to go on interesting adventures! In this particular look, she is wearing Horse Back Ridiing Gear! Which was super cute on her! In this day in age, Fashionistas wear such looks just to make a fashion statement! We are loving her no collar statement jacket with huge buttons going down the middle. She accesorized with a big buckle belt!

Shirley Temple is rocking the Classic Peacoat in this look! Her peacoat has it's on signature look, due to the buttons in the middle. Much like jackets train conductors wear! Shirley Temple was also known to wear signature hats!

Here's Shirley Temple wearing another signature Peacoat much like the coats she was usually known to wear.

Shirley Temple is caught again wearing a
Train Conducter Jacket! This one looks to be made of satin material! Very adorable!

Last but not least, Shirley Temple is captured wearing a Navy Sailor suit!

Well... Fashionistas! That's wraps up Our Shirley Temple Tribute!
May she rest in peace!

Hello fashion blog tuners! This us LaShan! Today is WHATS TRENDING WEDNESDAY?!?! On Edwina LaShan. This Wednesday is a spotlight on...STYLISH AND SASSY SHOES!! As I was walking through the mall this past Saturday, I couldn't help but to be in deep thought of what is next for what's trending WEDNESDAY?!? So I hung my head down and was so sad that I could not think. Then it hit me! SHOES! But not just any old shoes, I'm talking about stylish and sassy shoes that just leave your face in amazement. YASSS!

The images above are stylish shoes that I bought this past weekend. The thing for spring I believe is shoe candy. Shoes are both an accessory and clothing item. Depending on what type of shoe and how fashionable the shoes are. If you wear something like simple black flat, it's a Clothing item, but jazz it up with your own twist; it easily can become both.

What I'm beginning to notice in a lot of shoes for woman, which is becoming more and more of a trend, is multi-color shoes. Shoes that have various popping colors would seem questionable to the normal eye, but put them with other eye catching vibrant colors.

This Spring, I predicted some very daring styles for shoes. Take Nicki Minaj for example, she adds many different shapes and objects to the shoes plus daring colors to really catch attention on the shoes. Makin the shoes, one of her biggest accesories.

Of Course with all the shoes that will be popping off this Spring, make sure your feet are done! YOU CAN NOT have FABOLOUS SHOES and not so FABOLOUS feet! lol That is a huge no-no for the Spring. Even I will be on caution, making sure I take a day to get a pedicure so my feet will continue to look as FABOLOUS as the shoes!
