Sixteen Candles, one of Our all time Fav Movies by Ringwald was a movie about newly turned 16 year old Samantha Baker! Samantha deals with the fact that her entire family has forgotten her sixteenth birthday due to the fact that her sister is getting married the next day! Her day gets worst as her crush mistakingly is handed a sex quiz she filled out saying she's a virgin and she wants her first encounter, to be him, Jake Ryan! To make matters worst, she has a nerd who has a crush on her! Could matters get any worst? Yes they do! Lol In a nutshell this is a must see movie!

Check out Fashion from the movie!

Samantha was known for her Classic 80s  pieces, such as floral jumpsuits, Foronda Hats, hang off the shoulder oversize shirts, and flowy sheer dresses with ruffles!

Fedora Straw Hat:

Samantha is wearing a sheer pink blush dress at her School dance! This dress is very elegant and sophisticated! It's definitely one of the highlights of the movie, because it shows how girly and vulnerable Samatha is. The diamond brooch she wears in the center of her dress gives a timeless touch to her look.
She wears elegant pearls and carries a little pink clutch to complete her look.

Best Friend, Randy is known for her Spunky Style! Rocking an off the shoulder sweater and denim miniskirt!

In the wedding scene Samatha wears a breathtaking pink, ruffle, bridesmaids dress, actually stealing the spotlight from her own sister, the bride. The next day at the wedding, was much like a breath of fresh air for Samantha. Much ulike the baby breath flower tiara she wore in her hair, considering all the things Samantha had been through the day before. Samantha was more refreshed, laid back and stunning!

Much to her surprise! Jake Ryan saves the day and sweeps Samantha off her feet! Samantha looks absolutely stunning in the last scene of the movie with her Prince Charming! πŸΈπŸ‘‘πŸ’

Just as her best friend Duckie works up the courage to confess his feelings for her, a wealthy and popular classmate named Blaine takes interest in Andi." -College Fashion

Check out Fashion from the Film:

"The characters’ distinctive styles are one of the most notable parts of the film. True to ’80s fashions, blazers are a staple of each character’s outfit. While Blaine channeled a traditional preppy look,  look, Duckie’s eccentric style featured '50s rockability elements, and Andi’s style was more girly and frou frou. Andi and Duckie’s outfits also featured heavy use of accessories. Almost every one of their looks included hats , jewelry, scarves, glasses and even vests." -College Fashion

Andi wears a look with round glasses, a wide brim Fedora hat, with a floral ribbon bow. She's wearing a thrifted, long, floral skirt with a button down, blush pink colored, button down blouse! Andi layers her look with from time to time with vest or sweaters! You can also catch her rocking chunky jewelry necklaces!

In this particular look above Andi is wearing a Lettermans jacket which was very popular in the 80s! She finishes the look with a tee shirt, shorts, leggings, and tennis shoes!

Andi could also be caught in her fair share of round collar sweaters!

Andi was definitely a fan of floral patterns!
In this picture she is wearing a black blazer, a pink Feronda brim hat, and a pink strap purse.

Andi and her best friend were known for there individual styles!  Duckie was known for his creativity and freestyle looks! He was not afraid to mix and match patterns or make bold fashion statements! He wore hats, blazers, and shades! He also wore ties and vest!

Below Andi is seen at Prom rocking her
self designed Pink Prom Dress! The design of the dress is a High Neck Collar, which is definitely a hit on runways into days fashion! The dress sweeps off her shoulders giving her a sultry and sexy vibe. A Polka Dot pattern is used to give the prom dress a girly look which stays true to Andi's signature style throughout the movie!
